October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. Avon picked the perfect time to introduce their latest Anew product - Anew Vitale.  Think PINK!  Vitale comes in a pretty pink jar and matches Avon's other breast cancer awareness products. Avon will donate $5 to the Avon Breast Cancer Crusade with every day or night cream purchase.  

Vitale is like Beauty Sleep in a Jar.  Who doesn't need that?  It revives with tired-looking skin after just one use, and guess what?  It works!  I've tried it and what a refreshing look my skin has!  I used the day cream in the morning after cleansing my face and before my moisturizer.

Another new product Avon introduced this campaign is the Ultra Color Matte Lipstick available in six fabulous colors.  I think that a matte finish is a great way to add color but not be flashy like some of the lipsticks with sparkle or a lot of shine.  Great to wear to work especially working in a casual place like I do.

How about sparkle for the nails instead?  Avon introduces Stardust Nail Enamel.  Your nails will look like they have a 3-D texture finish.  But just beware, this product looks great but I find it a little difficult to remove.  I let my nails soak in the nail polish remover for a few minutes which seems to help.


While we're on the subject of nails, have you ever tried Avon's Speed Dry Nail Enamel?  What a great nail polish if you're in a hurry!  It dries in 30 seconds so this is wonderful to use if you have a date but forgot to do your nails. Grab the Speed Dry, swipe a few strokes and you're ready to go!  Or if you like to change your polish frequently, the Speed Dry is the way to go to save time.  When I was younger and before I had kids, I loved to do my nails and often changed my color to match my outfits. Speed Dry would have been perfect.  But those days are long gone...now I'm lucky if I have time at all to paint my nails!
