It's National Fragrance Day - Who Knew?

I find that fragrance has to be something you experience in person.  I can read a fragrance description in a brochure and still don't know if I will like the fragrance or not.  The Avon brochure is full of scratch-n-sniff spots in the fragrance section.  These scratch-n-sniff patches give you a hint of what the fragrance smells like but I think the samples are an even better indication.  The funny thing with fragrance is that I might not like a fragrance from a sample but if I try the actual product, I might like it.  Just like there are many fragrances that I just don't like at all but smell different on different people.  Your body's chemistry reacts to a fragrance making it smell different.  A few of my customers love one of Avon's classic fragrances, Timeless.  I think it's one of Avon's stronger fragrances.   I like lighter, sweet fragrances.  Timeless is way too strong for me.  When I smell this fragrance on my customers, it smells really nice and not so strong.  Evidently, Timeless doesn't go with my chemistry.
