Since I'm older and have kids, we don't go out New Year's Eve anymore. There doesn't seem to be anything to do with kids where we live.  When I was a kid, one of the bowling alleys near us used to have "New Year's Eve Rock N Bowl."  It was bowling all night and food.  It was so much fun!  Unfortunately, we don't have anything like that where we live.  I even suggested the idea to our favorite bowling alley.  So instead of going out, we watch TV and eat snack foods all night.  The kids love cold cuts and snack foods for dinner.
