Holiday Beauty Gift Guide

 

Avon's Holiday Beauty Gift Guide is available starting today! I'm promoting the holiday gift guide earlier than usual this year because some things will sell out quickly.

What's in the gift guide? Makeup, jewelry, fragrance, holiday apparel, home holiday decor and of course gifts for the man in your life are all part of the holiday guide. 

Every holiday season, as an Avon representative, I play a game (mostly to myself) to see what will be the most popular item in the gift guide. This year, I'm selecting the porcelain angel and the porcelain trees. They both light up. I bought the angel already and lit her up. She's gorgeous! The porcelain has a pearly finish and the light resembles a slow flickering candle. I'm pretty sure she'll be sold out early. Let's see at the end of the holiday shopping season if I was right. 

My favorite Avon gifts for Christmas are the mini hand creams and lip balms. They are always in pretty Christmas designs. I tie ribbon around a hand cream and a lip balm. I curl the ribbon to make it fancy. I give them to coworkers, my kids' teachers, the UPS delivery person and anyone else I can think of that I want to give them a little something without spending a fortune. The lip balms are $1.49 and the mini hand creams are $1.99. It's a nice little gift for under $5. The hand creams are perfect for someone's purse. The lip balms are flavored. The sugar cookie and the buttercream ones are tied for my favorite flavors. 

Ever since I was kid, I loved jewelry. In fact, I even have a couple of pieces of Avon jewelry that my mom gave to me when I was a kid. Every holiday season, Avon has such beautiful, sparkling jewelry, and this year is no exception. The Christmas earrings are very pretty this year. I liked the poinsettia earrings so much, I just ordered the trees and the candy canes. Show some festive sparkle at your next holiday party. 

Don't forget that special man in your life this Christmas. I don't think he really wants underwear and socks, so try something new this year like a fragrance set. Think of it as a gift for yourself too since he will smell so good. The fragrance set come in a decorative box, no need for wrapping. Besides fragrances, Avon also has jewelry and watches for your man. 

I like to keep positive and upbeat about Avon but darn it, why don't they anything for kids? Avon used to sell exclusive toys for kids, bath roll-on soap, etc. Do you remember the roll-on soaps in fun scents? Now? Nothing! Hopefully, if enough Avon representatives ask for the kids' things to return, maybe they'll listen. 

Despite how tough the last year or two has been for some of us, I'm looking forward to Christmas. In fact, we have our house and yard all decorated already. I know it's early but it makes me and my husband happy.
