Avon's New Products
If you haven't heard, Avon in the United States has been purchased by LG H&H. This is good news because Avon kept some of their original products plus gained new products. I'm trying to stay positive but it's been a rough road with Avon due to the Pandemic and the changes of a new company taking over. I'm hanging in there though!
We lost some of Avon's products such as True Color Makeup which was a huge loss for me because since the new company took over, I haven't sold any makeup. I don't know if it's because the makeup is new or if it's too expensive. I have a hard time purchasing foundation for $24.50 when I was used to paying $10.99. When I found out that the Flawless line of makeup was being discontinued, I stocked up on my favorite foundation but I'm my last bottle. I know from experience that it may take a couple purchases of foundation from the Avon brochure to find the right color because the colors don't exactly print true. I purchased the new foundation, Cashmere Complexion. I found the perfect shade right away and I was pleased with the product. Not exactly pleased with the price but being a representative helps!
With the new company, Avon now has so many skincare options. We still have Moisture Therapy and Skin So Soft if you're a fan of those. We have plenty of new lotions and moisturizers which I haven't tried yet because I'm such a Moisture Therapy fan. I really have a hard time purchasing a bottle of lotion for $33 when Moisture Therapy works so well for $12.99. I understand Avon's position for introducing these higher priced products though. Some people can afford a Toyota and some can afford a Lexus. I'm in the Toyota category so I'll stick with my Moisture Therapy.
I absolutely love some of the new products. One of them is the Elastine Propolithera hair care line. I use the volumizing shampoo and condition and it works wonders with my thin hair. My hair seems like it's healthier and definitely fuller! I also use the volume spray to give my hair an extra volume boost. Not in the Elastine Propolithera line but wonderful for my hair is the Root Touch-Up. This works terrific in between colorings. It's a powder that you tap onto your grays to cover them up. Since my hair is thin, when I pull it back, I have some very thin spots so I tap the Root Touch-Up on. Voila! Thin spots are gone!
