My Experience with Espira So Far
Oh my goodness! It's been so long since I posted! I'm so sorry for those of you who actually follow my blog. Life has been busy lately. I felt that blogging isn't really my thing because all I seem to get are bots and scammers shopping my website from my blog. Believe it or not, it's mostly Russians. I've been seeing almost all Russian hackers reaching my Avon website in my Google Analytics so I shied away from blogging for a while. I tried my hardest to set my blog for United States users only but I can't seem to accomplish that. An Avon shopper on my website can only buy from my eStore in the United States so it's senseless for people out of the country to even view my blog. So my conclusion is they're all hackers. If someone knows how I can block other countries from seeing my blog, please teach me!
Anyway, back to Avon! At the beginning of the year, Avon introduced a brand new product line called Espira. Espira is a wellness line chock full of dietary supplements, vitamins, protein shakes, etc. There is a weight-loss system which I've tried in January until I got the flu. Then I got seriously off track.
Now, I'm back on the system and feel good. Honestly, I have not lost any weight but my energy levels have been great. The weight-loss program is called the Metabolism Boost System which includes a cleanse, metabolism boost, hunger block and plant protein powder in vanilla and chocolate.
I love the first step of the program - the ideal cleanse. I suffer from IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) and this cleanse relieved my symptoms for about a week.
The second part of the program is the metabolism boost that you take in the morning. The energy I get from the metabolism boost is wonderful! I love it because I feel energized but I don't get the shakes like some other supplements I've tried. I do have to watch how early I take the metabolism boost because it does effect my sleep. I feel like I can go and go and go and go...like the energizer bunny! I think the reason I haven't lost any weight is my diet. I just can't seem to stick to a diet no matter how I try. Another thing with the metabolism boost is I cannot take these capsules on an empty stomach. I didn't even breakfast first one morning and boy, was I sick to the stomach. I have to take my capsules after I eat. It might be just me though. I couldn't take prenatal vitamins in the morning when I was pregnant because they made me so sick.
The hunger block is a another part of the program. This is taken with a meal. The directions on the bottle say to take with your biggest meal of the deal. All my meals seem to be able the same size but I forget to take the capsules at dinner so I take them with lunch. I don't really notice any difference taking the capsules so I might not continue with them.
The fourth part of the program is the plant power protein. I haven't tried the vanilla flavor, just the chocolate flavor since one of my diet downfalls is chocolate. I love chocolate. Any kind of chocolate, milk or dark. I have a feeling that if I could get away from chocolate, my weight would drop drastically. I guess I'm addicted! Anyway, the chocolate plant protein powder is good. It's a taste that grew on me. I drink mine with skim milk. I use the blender bottle that is featured in the picture at the top of the blog. This is a neat bottle! First, it's leak proof which is great for carrying to work with me. Second, the bottle comes with a ball that acts like a whisk to mix your shake. You shake it and it gets all frothy. I love it! You can get the blender bottle free with any $35 Espira purchase. Before the blender bottle appeared in the representative demo book, I was using a bottle and tried stirring the shake but it didn't work so well. The protein powder does take some effort to blend in with the milk. I can't speak for the vanilla, just the chocolate. I'll have to try the vanilla next.
I know an Avon representative who lost 60 pounds on the Metabolism Boost System. She looks fabulous! I'm going to have to get down to business and try harder to loose my weight.
My comments here are my own personal experience with Espira. There is no guarantee that the products will or will not work for you. Great news is that Avon has a no questions asked return policy so if Espira isn't right for you, return it for a full refund. I sound like a commercial, don't I?
Thank you for reading! If you already tried Espira, I would love to read your comments. If you would like to try Espira, shop online at my Avon eStore at www.christinesbeautyshop.com.
