New Year, New You!

  

Happy New Year! The holidays are over and my life returned to normalcy. I still need to take down my Christmas decorations but that can wait until next weekend when I have a couple of hours at home.  It seems as though I've been running here, there and everywhere and haven't been at home for a length of time during the Christmas season.  

So, this is a new year which is the perfect time to make a change and become an Avon representative.  A new year, a new you!  I started Avon nine years ago in January and told myself to stick it out for the new year.  It was a new adventure and I had no idea whether or not I was going to make it.  Here I am, nine years later and still going strong.  I only do Avon part time but make money and have fun with it.  I love my customers which became close friends of mine over the years.  

Joining Avon nine years ago was a little different than it is now.  I paid $10 for twenty brochures, a few training materials to read and a few samples.  Today, you can choose from 3 kits starting at $25.  The starter kits include full size products, samples, training materials, brochures and more goodies than when I started.  Plus, if you join today, you'll have the opportunity to make $1,000 in the first 90 days.  Wow!  You'll earn 40% on all products if you make your sales goal for the first 6 campaigns (there's a new Avon campaign every 2 weeks). Plus, if you recruit 3 qualified recruits who have orders of $150 for their first order, you'll get $150, $50 for each recruit.  If you can make your sales goals and recruit at least 3 qualifying recruits, you'll get a $200 bonus.  It sounds like a lot but it really isn't.  The first sales goal is a $150 which is about 5-6 customers. Most customer orders average $25-$30. The sales goal increases by $50 each campaign.  Even if you don't recruit anyone, you can still make $660 in 90 days just meeting your sales goal.  Nice! 

Once you succeed at your first six campaigns, you can set your sights on reaching President's Club which is achieved at $10,000 in sales. After the first 6 campaigns, your earnings are based on your order size and which products you sell.  You will receive higher earnings on Avon's core products such as makeup, fragrance, jewelry and skin care.  You will receive less earnings on clothes, shoes, household items, etc.  Once you achieve President's Club, you'll earn 40% on all Avon's core products for a year. You don't have to stop there either.  The higher your sales, the higher up the sales ladder you go, the more money you earn and the more exclusive perks you'll get. The same applies to recruiting, the more recruits you have, the more you earn plus bonuses at various levels.  

Don't worry about not having sales experience! It's not necessary to succeed with Avon. I'm not a salesperson by any means but my Avon business is successful because I love the products and share my enthusiasm with customers.  I show off the latest jewelry.  I use the products myself every day.  I'm a walking Avon billboard!  My face is made up with all Avon products starting with Anew skin care products.  I give my opinions on products and even show women how to use the products. I think they other reason my Avon business is successful is Avon is reasonably priced.  Avon's makeup is very affordable and is as good as any other, sometimes even better.  I think that Avon's prices make it easier to sell.  I know of other makeup companies that sell mascara for $30.  Avon's most expensive mascara is $10 regular price, not a sale price.  I don't know about you but I don't many people who can afford $30 for mascara.  Avon's skincare products are affordable too.  I cannot see myself spending $150 for anti-aging serum like I've seen it in department stores.
