I bet you didn't even know Avon sold candles! In fact, there are 24 scents to choose from now.  That will change as the seasons change.  The summer scented candles like the Island Nectar are on sale, 2 for $20.  Avon's candles have 3 wicks and burn up to 30 hours.  Some candles smell really good but when lit, the scent isn't as strong.  Not Avon's candles. I think Avon's candles are just as good as the leading candle companies but the price isn't as high especially at the end of the season when Avon puts them on sale. Some of the summer scents include sparkling lemonade and creamy coconut.  These summer scents match the warm weather and give the feeling of summer even indoors.  I always match my candles to the season. In fact, I already have my pumpkin candles ready to go for fall. 

I really like the size of Avon's candles.  Do you get tired of a particular scent after a while?  I do so I like that Avon's candles aren't so big that it seems like an eternity to finish a candle.  I also like the glass jars they come in.  The jars are perfect for organizing makeup brushes, lips glosses, eyeliners, craft supplies, office supplies and much more.  Here's how I get out the wax layer left over once the candle has been burned through to the end. First, once candle is cooled after the flame goes out on its own, put the candle jar in the freezer for a few hours.  Then take a butter knife or putty knife and carefully scrape out the wax.  You can take off the label as well.  Then put the candle in the dishwasher and there you have a nice, glass jar.  Don't use the jar for any type of food storage though or food consumption. 

For those of you who do not like to burn candles or live in a place where lit candles are prohibited but still like the glow of a candle, Avon has LED candles.  These candles are battery operated and give off the same glow of a real candle.  I use LED candles in my living room since I only burn a candle on the kitchen stove because of my five cats and two kids.  I can just see disaster happening with a lit candle anywhere else in the house besides the stove!  Last Christmas, Avon also had snowflake LED candles which are simply adorable so I'm hoping this Christmas, they'll have them again.
