5 Star Favorites - Avon's Best Sellers

The online reviews are in!  Avon's online customers gave 5-stars to these Avon products - Glimmersticks, True Color Eyeshadow Quads, Ultra Color Lipstick and many more.  I agree with these online reviews!  Glimmersticks is my best selling Avon product.

Avon's Glimmersticks are self-sharpening pencils for lining eyes, brows and lips.  Glimmersticks for the eyes come in black, brown, green, grey and blue.  There is a color for every eye color.  My customers always buy more than one when they are on sale.  One reason is that it's hard to tell when they run out so they always order more when they open the last one.  Another reason is that they like wearing different colors which I do too so I will occasionally wear Glimmersticks instead of my normal liquid eye liner in which the colors are limited.  Glimmersticks for the eyes are available in waterproof, with a little sparkle and Liqui-Glide which is like liquid eye liner in a pencil form.

I do, however, use the Glimmersticks lip liner every day.  The trick to longer lasting lipstick wear is to outline your lips with liner, color them in with the liner, then apply lipstick color.  Not my beauty tip but one of the many tips in the Avon brochures.  I like to read the tips that Avon publishes in the brochure.  I learn different makeup application techniques and learn which colors look the best on which hair and eye colors.  I learned that I can wear purple eye shadow with my brown eyes to make my eyes pop.  I was always told to wear neutral colors so I tried the purple and wow, they do "pop".

I agree with the online customer reviews - the True Color Eyeshadow Quads are my favorite too!  I like the quads for a few reasons.  One is the true color technology.  The color you see on the palette is the color on your eyelids.  Sounds like this should have been all along but a lot of times, the color is a lot lighter on your eye lids than on the palette.  I like the quads because the colors are numbered and there is a chart on the back of the palette showing where the numbered colors go on your eyelids.  This makes it very easy to create the perfect look!  Sometimes I wear all four colors and sometimes just one or two depending on how much time I have.  To get both eyes to look the same, depending on the day, I find it nearly impossible!  Another reason I like the quads is for traveling.  Just grab one palette instead of the individual colors.
