Hi!  It's been a really busy summer and I'm looking forward to the school year to start.  My daughter is starting her first year of high school so we're both super excited!  

I'm also super excited about the brand new jewelry line in the Avon brochure - SwapStyle. SwapStyle necklace sets are necklaces you can wear together or separate for three different looks. I bought the Green Scene necklace set for myself and am very pleased with it. The necklace pieces are very easy to snap on and off.  The only thing I didn't care for is the necklaces sets don't have matching earrings but plain gold hoops go well with the necklace.  Avon also has a necklace and earrings set with a smaller necklace that matches the SwapStyle set so you could actually wear the smaller necklace with the SwapStyle necklace set for a layered look.  

For the last few campaigns, I was looking for my favorite mascara, the SuperExtend Infinitize but it hasn't been in the brochure.  Oh no!  Avon changes their products to keep up with trends and/or improve the products.  My guess is that Avon may be discontinuing my favorite mascara.  I'll have to switch and guess which mascara I'm beginning to really love?  The Mega Effects!  I purchased the Mega Effects during the last campaign.   I've been using it since and really mastered the exclusive Wonder Brush.  Once you get used to the different angle of the brush, the mascara really grabs every lash from root to tip.  I think the Mega Effects creates picture-perfect lashes that you see on models.  Once I get used to my new webcam, I will demonstrate how to use the Mega Effects.  I have trouble using it because the movement is the opposite on the screen than what I'm doing.  I found a "mirror" function on the webcam software but I can't get it to work so that's another lesson to learn for another day!  Anyway, try the Mega Effects and see what you think.

The Avon Foundation for Women funds programs that accelerate breast cancer research and efforts to refuse domestic violence.  Show your support for these important issues with jewelry, watches and flip flops.  Avon makes donations for each of these products sold.  The Domestic Violence Butterfly Link watch is an absolutely gorgeous way to show your support.  Being a victim of domestic violence myself, my heart goes out to anyone who suffers this way regardless if you're male or female.

Before the summer ends, enjoy Avon summer fashions while they're on sale.  Dresses, tops, jeans and summer footwear are all on sale.  Where I live, the weather is warm up until mid-October so I have a little while to wear summer fashions before I have to trade them for Fall sweaters and long pants.
